Dot.com performance

Dear Parents and Caregivers

Just to let you know the children in team Pohutukawa will be attending a cyberbullying performance on the 27th of May. The teachers feel that it is very important for the children in the team to receive the message that this group of performers portrays as Cybersafety is vital for our young people in this day and age. The cost of the performance is $4.50 and will be listed on your school account.

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN TEAM POHUTUKAWA

OUR TERM 1 NEWSLETTER

Welcome to the Pohutukawa team for 2013!

We have a busy term ahead of us with swimming sports, duathlon and three way conferences all coming up. The dates for these events and also any notices you need are available on our school website www.rolleston.school.nz.

Our teaching team this year consists of: Andrew Boaz in 6B1, Barbara Thompson in 8B1, Tineke Schat in 8B5, Haylie Eilken in 8B6, Aimee Stewart in 8B7 and Kerri Bullen in 8B8. Aimee Stewart is the Pohutukawa team leader and on a Tuesday Tiffany Roycroft teaches in 8B7, while Aimee is released.

We will be holding a parent evening in room 8B7 on the 19th of February at 6.30pm to introduce you all to the teachers in the team and explain the things that make our team unique! We would love to see as many of you there as possible!

Thank you to those of you that have ordered your stationary, please remember that the list for this is on-line and we do advise you to cover your children’s books to ensure that they last the year.
